Useful Sharepoint Designer Custom Workflow Activities

I have installed this extension of workflow on MOOS 2007 and it is working properly on one of sites but view of workflow on personal webs is not working properly. I can see custom action but nothing happens on click. Thank you for any suggestion. JK

Has anyone tried using this in SharePoint 2013? The copy/move won't copy or move to a subfolder. It doesn't seem to understand the path to a subfolder: http://servername/site/lists/listname/subfolder It just copies to the list root ignoring the subfolder and it won't perform a move at all.

I am trying to create a workflow using SharePoint designer 2010 to move documents from one document library to another. This should happen manually. I am only able to trigger the workflow at item level. Can anyone tell me how to configure the workflow for all the items in the Document library on triggering the workflow manually?

Created Issue: Installation Issue - Failed to install with error SharePoint 3.0 not installed (it is) [16129]

I am working with SharePoint 2010 Foundation. I previously successfully installed and used these custom activies.

Following are the steps I took to get to the above error "SharePoint 3.0 not installed." - keep in mind Useful SP Designer Activites was already installed and working.

I installed a form program that sits on top of SharePoint called Infowise Ultimate Forms, which installed corrected and with no issues.

a few days later I notice that my workflow that were using the Custom Workflow Activies are failing.

I checked the workflows and they say "Error Message: Could not deserialize object. The type 'DP.Sharepoint.Workflow.SendEmailExtended' could not be resolved."

So I look in my actions and the Send Email Extended is missing (along with all the other custom activities).

Then I take a look at Central Admin Manage Site Features and the Useful SP Designer is not there.

I try to reinstall and get error "SharePoint 3.0 not installed."

Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear All

First of all you need to deploy the custom action solutions using -CompatibilityLevel {14, 15} as a parameter of Install-SPSolution

Secondly you need to add AuthorizedType for custom actions entry in <System.Workflow.ComponentModel.WorkflowCompiler> <authorizedTypes> <targetFx version="v4.0"> as well as in <System.Workflow.ComponentModel.WorkflowCompiler> <authorizedTypes> in web.config

Uncle Paul or other: I've deployed the solution, however, the Custom Workflow Activities are visible in SPD, but they are not added to the workflow after clicking the action button.

For example: From SPD workflow
1. Click Action.
2. Click one of the Custom Activities like lookup site user property.
3. Action window closes, but the activity is not added to the workflow.

Any ideas for me to try?

I have SharePoint 2010 Server. I recently installed SP1 AND December 2012 Cumulative update successfully. After that while testing I am unable to add customs actions to workflow in SPD 2010 neither my previous workflows with these actions are workflow.
I have made changes to web.config, but didn't help. Let me know if someone has the solution

Hello, I have the custom workflow activity installed and working properly. Is there a way to configure a custom workflow to email all sharepoint list items (filled out) as a separate attachment item? I got the "send email with list item attachments" to work but was wondering if there was a way to email all list items as well. Any help would be appreciated on this project. Thanks for your time.

I'm having the same problem.
A few users reported that some emails sent by "Send Email with List Item attachments" doesn't have any attachment.
I already check on workflow condition if the item has or not attachments, but it's not regular. Sometimes works, sometimes not..
Trying to debug log files to find what's wrong.

Created Issue: solution causes performance issues [16035]

Hi,

I actually wanted to report an issue. I'm using these activities specially look up user info and infopath activities but on running WFs, I get "potentially excessive number of requests" message in the logs and this is causing performance issues to us where some of the workflows specially if the infopath form that the workflow is running on includes attachment have error in the WF (transaction time out) and sometimes this happens with forms without attachments and this is solved for the forms just without attachment by restarting WFs , we have a case opened with Microsoft and they informed us that this solution is causing alot of performance issues that most probably is the cause of our problem so please if anyone has encountered this issue let me know and below is a section from the logs showing the error so kindly advise if you could check this issue .

Hi,
i have a Problem with the move function for a document (use a team website with libaries - SharePoint 2010).

I want to move a invoice document of a libary to a Folder in the same libary via a Metadata Field that contains the Value "confidential". The Folder have extra access rights.

When i try to move a document with these Metadata value, i got a error message in Windows that the officialfile.asmx File could not be found or accessed. The User have all the rights, to access all libarys and web services.

Anyone have a idea, how i can fix These Problem?

I'm having similar issues. Updating 2010 db to 2013. Workflows come over, but these actions come in with an Error: Could not deserialize object. The type 'DP.Sharepoint.Workflow.StartAnotherWorkflow' could not be resolved. The actions appear in SPD2013 under Actions, but when I try to replace, the workflow errors on compiling: 'The type or namespace name 'DP' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference.'

If anyone has gotten these to work...I would sure appreciate the fix!

For some reason, when building the workflow using "Send Extended Email", the html code did not automatically set the base HREF.

Example : <base href="https://mysite.com">

This was causing some of our dynamically chosen items to not work correctly, as the workflow would try to source images to embed without the full URL path, producing the dreadful "red x" outcome.

Also, thank you for developing this great tool.

Guys, activities are in workflow action menu in SPD 2013, but i cannot add them, nothing happenes when i try to add them in workflow. Am i doing something wrong or solution is not working in SP 2013?
